At Viljan Freja, you live in a cozy villa close to central Gothenburg, with schools, sports facilities, and a swimming pool within walking distance. Here, young people receive support and routines that help them establish a stable school life, find meaningful leisure activities, and build positive relationships with both adults and peers. We assist the placed youth in breaking negative behavior patterns and replacing them with effective strategies. With the support of our dedicated staff, young people receive guidance in managing emotions and conflicts in a way that helps them develop and feel good.

As a substitute at Viljan Freja, you work to provide young people with security, structure, and support in their daily lives. You are part of a team that makes a real difference every day for young people who need a stable adult presence and individually tailored support.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating a safe and predictable environment for the youth.

• Supporting and motivating in daily activities such as school, leisure, ADL, and social skills.

• Being a positive role model and contributing to good relationships.

• Handling acute situations calmly and professionally.

• Documenting events according to applicable routines and legislation.

• Working closely with colleagues to ensure good care and a structured daily rhythm.

You are relationship-oriented and have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, enjoying working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We prefer that you have:

• Experience from HVB, LSS, school, social work, or similar.

• The ability to meet young people with respect, clarity, and warmth.

• Good collaboration skills and a stable demeanor.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with the target group.

• Driving license B.

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Good computer skills, experience in documentation.

Role: treatment assistant

Employment form: Temporary employment

Working hours: As needed

Working time: Day shifts with sleeping on-call duty

Start date: In the spring

Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
